We have been actively involved as P&I Club Correspondents, Marine Consultants and Maritime Lawyers in the South West Pacific region since Brian White returned to the area from London, where he completed his post-graduate studies in Marine Law and worked for a leading London law firm.  

The firm provides advice and practical assistance to shipowners, stevedoring companies, terminal operators, port authorities and other transport operators and their insurers throughout Northern Australia and the Pacific Islands region. In addition, we are Correspondents for most of the International Group of Protection & Indemnity Clubs and we also provide advice to Hull & Machinery insurers. We act as local agents for many international law firms specialising in shipping and transport work.

Whilst we have taken a particular interest in the investigation of shipping casualties of various kinds (including oil and other pollution responses), we also regularly assist with charterparty and bill of lading disputes, shipbuilding contracts and ship sale and purchase agreements. We assist shipowners and their insurers in dealing with crew and passenger medical evacuations, crew and stowaway repatriations and the defence of personal injury claims. We also regularly attend to the appointment of marine surveyors and other experts throughout Northern Australia and the South-West Pacific.
